 Post subject: VRM PA and PI only??

Anyone here scaled just the power amp and phase inverter on a TC-15? I've been playing with mine a bunch today....the pre-amp just seems to sound better at full voltage... Maybe I just like it loud :shock: .

Not a TC-15 but what you describe is what I did to an old Traynor 50 watt I rebuilt to more Marshallesque specs. You'd probably want to put the master ahead of the PI in this case so as to not over drive the PI when it's plate voltages are lowered.
