The volume of my Lightning does not come close to that of my Tweed Deluxe (rated between 15 and 20 watts). Below are my voltages. Obviously, there are some weird ones there. Any thoughts on what might cause these? How could these attribute to the lack of volume? I'm getting almost no bass or lower midrange.

 I finally figured out the issue. Preamp tube number 2 had some issues. When I replaced it, I got more volume, less flabbiness, and great tone. I'm going to try a bunch of other 12ax7's all positions now till I get the tone I want. The power section are all good Mullards. Right now I have an EH 12ax7 in the phase inverter, a Westinghouse 12ax7a in the top boost part (tone controls), and a Groove Tubes 12ax7M (the Mullard remake) in the first position. Any suggestions as to what preamp tubes you guys have used in the past with success?
Thanks,
Darcy
