Anxiously awaiting, watching the tracking info as my RME interface begs for an input signal. I have a 1962 amperex EF86 that looks and tests better than new as well as a British Mullard rectifier looking for their sockets. I have my soldering iron in a holster on my hip ready to tin. I figured I would start my first string as I plan on coming back to share the experience and to relay the sounds from my freshly built amp. Nice to meet you all and hope to share soon, i think it should be here TODAY! TC-15!

You are really going to enjoy the EF86 channel of this amp. It really sounds good to me. You will learn to use the tone controls on your guitar to their best effect. It has breathed new life into my small inventory of axes....

Have fun with the build..

I love my TC-15. Unlike most of the posters, I really like channel 2 on mine. With a strat, it is awesome - chirpy and sweet for funk, lots of singing treble for my limited country licks, and gets downright nasty if I throw a fuzz pedal at it (check out the earthquaker devices hoof fuzz - killer with this amp). Super versatile and always fun - love it with a wah pedal too. Modulating effects really shimmer with this channel. Perfect for my band. (Beware: at fist it will seem to have too much treble - use the tone controls and the high cut to dial in some sweetness).
