 Post subject: How to make an amp neat

Hi guys,

I will be doing a TC 15 kit soon and would like to hear peoples layout tips and tricks to make the neatest possible amp.

It's all about taking your time. Making clean bends, and focusing on lead dress. There's really no other tips that can be given. Look at pictures of other people's builds.

Agree with ztevin.
Take your time.
lead dress typically as short and neat as possible.
Do heaters first.
Wire PT .
Do a real nice job on the board.
Wire your grounds next, input leads last.
Work from the bottom up.
Tuck leads to tubes under the board a little to hide them.
tuck control leads under lip to hide & shield them.
Run control leads along corner of chassis
Wire tube pins closest to board first. Route other over them / 90 degrees to if possible, not parallel.
Leave minimal extra wire to pick up noise.
Take your time. It is not a race!
