Well I finally reached the point of powering up my amp. I followed the procedure specified in the manual and everything checked out fine until I got to the step of plugging in a cable and trying to induce some hum by touching it. I got nothing. I got on here and did as much research as I could. This thread (
http://www.trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3095) gave me some worries.
So I checked into the impedance switch. I had it wired right, so I tried hooking the 8 ohm tap directly to the outputs and still nothing. Any ideas of what to check for?
Another thing I noted was I had continuity between all the different ohm taps when they were wired to the switch, it didn't matter where the selector was, I got continuity between all the pins on the switch in any combination, A-1, A-2, A-3, 1-2, 1-3... is this supposed to be that way? Is it possible my O.T. is fried?
Thanks and Happy New Year All,
-Josh
