I just picked up a used empty avatar 2-12 cab and loaded it w an old greenback and a g12h 30w and I do think that this is the perfect match for the lightning. It seems to be very creamy and touch sensitive all the way through from clean to scream.
I have used v30s and kendrick browns and a pair of eminence something or others and this latest combo does kill.
Just my 2 cents.

I can imagine this would sound good. Do you think the greenback breaks up too soon?

It seems to break up pretty early but not a huge amount.
Maybe the low wattage output of the amp helps out.


I am trying to post some clips but am having a hard time w my soundcard.
