I love my TC15--best amp I have ever played...why is it no longer available?

I'm also really sad when the TC15 is no longer available.

Many manufacturers discontinue older models to make way for newer designs with updated features or technologies.

So it it actually gone? And if so, why?

There are plenty of models, so I don't think "making room" is the likely reason. It was the only Vox flavor in the lineup.
