I'm building a simple foldback reverb style into a 15 [Lightning]. Got the tube socket, term strip & send/return jacks already mounted. Now to wire it in. Has anyone done this on a 15?

If it works out, we'll try it on an 18!

I finished wiring it up & tested it on the bench and I am getting reverb. I fed the reverb feedback into the coupling cap between the treble and the PI.

Tomorrow we'll tweak it up. We may find a better place to inject the feedback.

When it's done & good, I will post the DIY instructions.

Great, I am moving right now, so the 18 had to take a back burner, but I do happen to have a reverb laying around here. :D And have a little empty space on the bottom :D

We worked on the reverb again. We did get some good tones out of it but were plagued by a feedback squeal at hight volumes/max reverb. Had to reduce the cathode cap to get rid of it.

More testing/tweaking to do. :?

Trinity 15 Foldback Reverb

It worked but it was tricky to get it to not squeal inside this build. It provides a decent amount of reverb. Thanks to a friend, we got it to go.
Control is on the rear of the amp.
In the end, went back to pretty well stock values but increased the cathode resistor value and control pot value and used a 2 spring pan, not 3.

I had a chance to play this amp before it was shipped. The reverb was a fine addition to the amp providing a nice depth of tone and feel. I really really liked it.

In the end, I did like the reverb.

There are probably ways to make it better and more solid but it was reasonably wet at about 1/2 - 3/4. Full on was good but not Fender-esque. If that's what you want, do the full Monty.

Thanks as always to lbet for his 'seal of approval'.
