I am finally getting around to my Lightning 15 build with a cut switch and using the modifications listed on the latest revision. I am using a Heyboer OT from Hoffman Amps and have a question on how to wire it. Does the blue lead on the primary go to V4-7 and the brown lead to V5-7 or does it make a difference? I have seen it wired both ways on the 18watt website.

As far a OT secondaries go, it may make a difference because it has to be in phase with the primary windings or it might squeal.
If it does squeal at max vol/gain, then just reverse the leads. No harm done.

Thanks Stephen. I will check it out after I get it built and should be able to make changes fairly easily since I am not going to mount this in a cabinet just yet. I am going to try it out with some of the speaker cabinets I have to see what kind of speaker(s) I want to use. I have a Tweed Deluxe with a 12" alnico Jensen and a Tweed Bassman with 2-10" ceramics and 2-10" alnicos that I built so I want to experiment with these to see what sounds best. I also have an old Yamaha 12" ceramic that I will also try. I will let you all know how this comes out.
