Hi, anyone using it in the TC15? I heard there might be an issue with the glass envelope being too large?

I have not tried it. On the TC15, the first shield holder can be removed

How do I use it?

I am using the EH EF86 in my TC15 and it seems to fit the socket fine and I do like the tone. I don't use the socket holder thing and I can't even recall if that is an issue, but works fine without. It's also been pretty reliable as I've had the same tube in there with weekly use for over five years now. It even survived an unfortunate fall out of the back of my truck!
