I.m not useing the 22\22K from pin 9 of the power Tubes . I,ve noticed that all Lightnig power trannys are 285 or 290 is 300 to high?

I built a Lightning circuit into a gutted Carvin Vintage 30 for a friend. The PT put out about 310V after SS rectification and a minimal RC network.. It sounded super harsh to me, but not overly gainy. A little zener string knocked the B+ down to a nice 285V and it warmed right up - or at least as warm as Carvin's crappy OT would let it get.

300 is a bit high. As suggested, use a 5W zener on the B+ to drop it 20V or so. You should use the schematic as drawn including all the 22K resistors.
