I just followed the entire Lightning and Jennings era AC30 (normal channel) schematics. I think I've noted the differences I saw before, but there are some more. These are where the Vox differs from the Lightning (other than power handling, obviously):
C1: 500pf (from .0015pf)
C3: 100pf (from 180pf)
C4: omit from Lightning
C5: 50uf (from 51pf)
C7 & C8: .047uf (from .01uf)
C9 & C11: .0150uf (from .02uf)
R11: 220k (from 100k)
R21: 50 ohm (from 120 ohm)
Vol Pot: 500k (from 1M)
Master vol: omit from Lightning
C7, 8, 9, and 11 are coupling caps and change to some values I'm familiar with, but C5's change from 51pf to 50uf seems totally weird. That's an absolutely massive value difference. Is this bizar, or is it just my first time seeing something like that? I wish I knew how changing those coupling caps would effect sound.
