Those are some great sounding clips from an 18 watter!! Where you using any effects in those clips outside of the wah pedal? Do you have any pictures of the inside of your build? Again great sounding amp and thanks for the clips.

Thanks! The amp is a beast! I've never opened the amp up, but Stephen did send me a few gutshots while he was building it. I don't know how to post pics on here but you can email me (chris_athans@hotmail.com) and I can send them.

In terms of effects, I used clean boosts for each clip"
Milk Cow Blues: solidgold fx mr clean dimed on high treble and low output modes
ACDC clip: Solidgold fx SS454 pretty much running on clean boost with lots of treble.
Strat & Blues Riffing: Solidgold fx mr clean and high octane (both set to clean boost) and I kicked in the solidgold comp 427 for some sweetness on the neck pickup riffs

This amp is EXTREMELY pedal friendly, sounded great out of everything we threw at it.

Setting levels were: bass:3 mid:4 treble:max volume: 3.5 master: max
the other channel was going into the low input with the volume around level 4

The onboard clean boost was on....

I'm going to record some more clips this week with my flying V. Everytime I plug my V into that amp it sends the chills down my spine....
It's a Karina body with an angus young signature bucker in the bridge and a gibson 496R in the neck.... The sIII makes is sustain for days and just gives a really unique tone!

Hotmail does not seem to be working now but I'll send it when it's back up and running. I'll do a dry clip too, but I'm 99% sure it'll be identical if I set it a littlew dirtier. I just like to run my amp a little cleaner for a rythm sound and be able to click in a pedal for a transparent boost.

It was only recorded on a cheap digital camera with a $2 mic... I have a quicktime file, but I don't know how to turn it into an audio only file....

Thanks

I'm using a Z Best 2-12 (Vintage 30 + G12H)... best 2-12 cab money can buy! I'm getting another clip up tomorrow, been swapping different tubes for the 12ax7... looking for more headroom and an overall cleaner tone ..
