For this, the first of many clips, I just stepped through the 4 modes. All controls were at 12 o'clock which fairly clean. Here is what you're hearing.

0:00 - 0:28 6v6

0:28 - 0:50 6v6 /w boost

0:50 - 1:15 el84

1:15 - End el84 /w boost

The setup was the amp into a Trinity 2x12 containing 2 tone tubby ceramics. I used a single SM-57 in front of the cab into mackie vlz preamp into protools. No fx or anything were used at anytime.

Nice playing as usual. 8) Thanks!

You can really get the Marshall feeling on the last part. I like to compare the 6V6 and EL84 with boost on. The EL84 with boost on has that Marshall sound to it. The boost is noticeably louder, more like a pedal.

Both Volume & Master Volume at 12 o'clock?

New Clippage.

As requested, boosted clippage. The settings were the same for both clips. Boost on, bass at 6, Mid and treble at 7, volume at 7, master at 9.

Once again the setup is the same as before with a 2x12 with tone tubby ceramics in it.
