How do you attach the tube sockets to the chassis? I would suspect that there are nuts, but that doesn't look to be the case

The chassis is tapped, meaning the chassis is basically the nut. The chassis is threaded.

You should just need #4 bolts 5/8".

This is probably outlined in the kit instructions.
