Does anyone have a pic of how the three tabs VRM potentiometer are attached to the little green circuit board?

You have to trim the pot tabs (per instruction sheet) to fit into the board holes. Or you could run small , short jumpers between the two parts.

Recommended to trim the pot lugs as per the documentation.
