Can someone tell me what it does how much it costs and where to get it? I have a completed tweed from trinity.
I am looking for something to allow me to crank the volume for more crunch and tone but not more volume.

Thanks

Email Trinity, they will sell you one. They are cheap.

As for what it does. Well It scales the B+ voltage so in effect you have a max B+ of ~350v while you can turn it down to say ~300v and your amp volume goes down while u still have that cranked sound. (the one your neighbors an wife love so much). But at a lower volume .

In terms of volume, would the VRM be able to get the Deluxe down to "speaking level"? Is it a dramatic enough shift to make it suitable as a bedroom/practice amp?

I've read on the forums that the Tramp is capable of getting the volume right down to a level where you can easily speak over it (or even here your strings vibrating over it) - is this also true for the Deluxe or does it remain considerably louder?

Yes, it can get you to speaking levels and it still sounds pretty reasonable too!
