*Update*: I’ve made a second video about some mods I did. Demo and 3 way NFB/cathode bypass/stock switch comparison. https://youtu.be/Gxwu7cmlxRI

Finished up my first build recently. I documented the process via video. There's a demo track with all guitars recorded using the amp.

I did a handful of small mods (diodes on the rectifier, screen resistors, resistor on standby switch) but it's stock otherwise. Considering re-voicing the Normal Channel to have another option.

I lurked and researched here for a while before doing my build so hopefully this will serve as some inspiration for those doing the same:

Hi Michael, welcome to the fourm!

Great video. Thanks for posting the link. The demo song sounds great, too, with all the guitar parts! Hopefully, the video helps to inspire people considering building the kit to go ahead and do it.

As you said, the kit isn't overly hard to assemble as long as you follow the instructions, take your time, and keep things neat. Glad the amp almost worked the first time. At least the only problem was quickly diagnosed to a missing wire. Yes, the other key to a successful build is checking your wiring, double-checking it, then checking it again!

Updated the initial post with a link but I just made a second video about some mods. More sound examples in the video as well.
