 Post subject: Tweed 5E3 cabinet build

I want to build my own tweed covered head cab for my 5E3 amp I just finished. I have tolexed many amp cabinets and have always used 3M spray adhesive on the regular vinyl tolex. Will 3M spray adhesive bond the tweed and will it bleed through the material? I will also need to extend the impedance switch and speaker jacks to the back panel of the head using a terminal switch to extend the OT wires.
Will Extending the OT wires cause any noise problems?
Any ideas and knowledge will be appreciated.
