We built a Trinity Tweed kit in 2018. We are using a Retro 30 from Speaker Warehouse and a Mini Mass Attenuator from Webber.
The amp is loud, I set the attenuator around 1 if playing alone and also when playing with our band. I love the sounds I get out of the 5e3 and switch between it and my old Twin Reverb using an A/B box based on the song. I don't have much understanding of the electronics, but curious how to get control on my volume without sacrificing the great tone. do I get a better attenuator or is a VRM a more versatile solution? Is the speaker too efficient? Thanks

The Retro 30 from Speaker Warehouse is a relatively efficient speaker, which can contribute to the amp's overall volume and make it harder to control.

Appreciate your input. I was wondering if the efficiency of the Retro 30 was adding to the loudness, it is also quite heavy. Any suggestions for a less efficient/more manageable speaker ?

I also like the sound of the Retro 30. It has a very clear and powerful tone. geometry dash

We built a Trinity Tweed kit in 2018. We are using a Retro 30 from Speaker Warehouse and a Mini Mass Attenuator from Webber. The amp is loud, I set the attenuator I have a just taken in a Richter 5E3, the volume will be fine for live use, but I'd like to bring it down at home and still get some break up. I would monkey type rather have one that mounts in So, after some initial research, my options are : VVR, Attenuator or less efficient speaker. What do you guys think ? I think a VVR is relatively inexpensive to build, so I'm The 18 watt amp is a loud beast. Volume and power are related logarith mically. If you want to double (halve) the volume you need to increase (decrease) power by a factor of

Your setup with a Trinity Tweed kit, Retro 30 speaker, and Mini Mass Attenuator sounds fantastic! The 5E3 circuit is known for its rich tone but can be challenging to control volume-wise without sacrificing its character. best sex dolls
