Some great feedback!

Its really nice - what more can I say? Not at all like the 18 or the TC15 - totally different. Powerful tone, really ballsy.
Hiwatt amplifiers are just very different to the rest of the crowd out there, especially from cathode-biased amps like Voxes, 18Ws or TC-15s. Real tough sounding amps.

This thing is DEAD quiet, when you are not playing even with a high gain pedal turned on. Quieter than both the 18 and 15.
Stephen did an awesome job on the layout of this amp. The prototype had a real good layout. The final version is even better. Plus we're using metal film resistors for the larger values (100k and above), for low noise, as well as carbon for lower, less noise-prone values.

I am interested to see where "gigging" volume will be but right now I have the master volume at 9 oclock ...
By comparison Lawrence was playing the 6V6 version at The Hollywood and had the MV at about half way, maybe just a fraction over half way IIRC.
