Just wanted to chime in and say another TRIWATT was born into the Church of Tone on 5/1/09 at 8PM EDT. It is healthy and well! Man, I am so stoked with the rightous tones I am getting from this amp. Rich harmonics that sound better than any amp I have ever owned. I am using 6V6's now but will get some KT's soon. This was my second build. The first a metro JTM45. The TRIWATT was more complex but I am very glad I took the plunge and got it. With this amp and my JTM45 I have found tones that have been in my head for years. Anyone want to buy a like new Dr Z m@z 18 JR NR? Kudos to Stephen and his team for coming up w/ such an awesome kit. Stephen was great answering my newbie questions:} The tone Gods will be very pleased of this worthy specimen. As you will see my wiring technique is not the prettiest, but the solder joints are good, amp fired right up and I have played in a few hrs and so far all is well. I did use a shielded wire on the OD switch. No feedback, squeals, or any other type of noise.
