After this post I picked up a cheap Blackheart 110 cab and popped the Red Fang in there to use with my Mesa Transatlantic/Vox Nighttrain/OrangeTiny Terror lunchbox heads and it is to die for

This speaker is not for sale any longer. I suspect it would sound superb in the Tramp, though!

I'll have to swing by with the Tramp & give it a try then. Too bad (for me) because they recently jacked the price on the Fangs.

WGS has an alnico 10" also, don't they? It's still a little pricey if memory serves. Has anyone tried them?

Second pic down shows it installed in the plain box. I love the sound. At 239 cdn its not bad. I have a love affair going with WGS. The alnico is most often run with a WGS vetran 10. Both speakers work well with the tramp but I like them together.
With Steamco in Winnipeg being the Cdn dealer they are also handy. Prices are hard to beat as well.
The Peavey beside it has a british lead in it. A clone of the classic lead 80.

I can confirm that the Eminence Red Fang is still available @ $269.30 CAD

It has an AlNiCo magnet and Cobalt is the expensive element ($97,000/ton).

Would like to know how it performs with the Ramrod, Ragin' Cajun
