Thank Stephen,

She looks almost respectable.

I just posted some Tramp tracks here: http://www.myspace.com/percyadler ... from my upcoming album "Strike 4".

Three tracks ... Defunkt ... Rackit ... Jungo ... are solo guitar through the Tramp.
The percussive sounds are generated with stuff stuck in the strings.
Defunkt and Jungo are played with a Gibson Tennessean and Rackit is a 12 string Strat.

Hit and Short Wave also partly feature the Tramp ... you can tell which one she is fairly easily ... ha ha.

I want to acknowledge and hold accountable the inimitable Brent Bodrug for the sounds produced here.
Any complaints about the musicality of these sounds and damage caused herein shall be addressed to Brent.
I am hoping to keep my innocence ... at least until my little tramp comes home.

Again Stephen, thanks for your attention to detail on this sweet young thing.

your pal Percy

Something puzzle me about your Tolex.

Do you use 4 pieces to cover the Tramp? It seems on the pics that you overlay part of the tolex on the top and on the bottom. I imagine that you use less material that way. Is it easier that way cause you don't use metal corner to conceal the joint?

Thank you.

With the tweed style front cabinet, the 'proper' way to tolex the cab is different. 4 pieces, yes. It could be done in one but there would require large corner joints & I wanted a look that was similar to a Tweed. It takes more time to tolex it this way.

If you do a good job on the corner, you wont need to cover up the corner joint.

Who is this clown Percy?! Sounds like a pervert! I certainly would never let anyone this incompetent into my studio... ;)

Nor would I ever "damage" anyone's audio!!!!!!! At least on purpose...

So, I'm driving down Hwy 33 in Prince Edward County... I've got a new Trinity Amps t-shirt on, and a brand new blue tolex/black grill Tramp in the passenger seat next to me... I see the mailbox that says "Percy Adler"... and I just keep on driving...
8)

Sheesh! And to think I was going to personally deliver the Tramp to his front step... now I'm just going to have to invoice him for mileage!! :giggle:

Wow, Keith Jarret! I'm not a great fan of jazz, but Keith Jarret is awesome!
