Hi there, friends.

My new tramp us coming along rather swimmingly, but seems like my kit didn't actually come with any of the shielded wire called for in the layout. Should I be able to get by cutting up an RCA cable? Or do I need something special?

This forum has been a fantastic resource during my build, and one of the contributing factors when choosing to go with a kit from Trinity. You all rock.

That would work. Just make sure it has two conductors in it.

I'd email Trinity and let them know though. They should be able to send you some shielded wire.

Not sure about the 2 conductor stuff KL is referring to, but if you can get to an elex store and buy a few feet of RG174 you'll be happy. It's an actual coaxial cable and I think it's what Stephen uses.

Co-ax is a two conductor cable.
