My newly restructured band (3 piece ) is playing our first gig this NYE at a local bar.

I plan to gig my 18 sIII and Triwatt with my new 2x12 bomb cab (using the radial headbone nead switcher).

First time in about 6 gigs I am bringing something other than the Triwatt... :)

Anyone else playing tomorrow night? What you bringing?

For guitars I am bringing my Jazz bass for bass duty, and my AJC tele, blue top LP/Prs style and my gretschy hollow body. First time I am bringing 3 guitars to a gig as well... since we kicked out the bass player, we all have more room :)

Well, thats too bad...

I just got back from set up. I am using my new bomb cab - sounds great!

I have the 18 sIII and Triwatt as I said. Hooked up so I can switch back and forth through the same 2x12.

During sound check, I was REALLY digging the 18 watter - havnt had thatone out at the bar in a while. The Tri is set for clean and clear, the 18 with a little dirt and more mids.

I am playing my Tele, my blue top dual HB guitar and my semi hollow with TV jones'.

Should be a fun night, other than I am not drinking at all since I am driving me and my gear home after the bar closes...:) I wish I could have a few rye's but I want to get my gear out of there... a different band play tomorrow night and I am busy all day.

Well, better get my shirt and tie on.. :)

Happy new years eve everyone! Trinity style! Woot woot

well, the first gig of 2010 (or last of 2009 I guess!) went well. Considering there were 4 bands playing 4 venues last night - which is a lot for a small town - ours was pretty busy and had a good crowd.

I ended up playing my 18 watter 90% of the time... sorry Triwatt, I was liking the 18 last night :) I think those old German made EL84's I put into it a few weks ago sound AWESOME... way better than the JJ's that were in it since I built it.

Its funny, between just the TC15, Triwatt and 18 sIII there are SO many great sounds available on tap.

Its awesome to have a the choice.

Glad the evening went well. What did you use for a bass amp?

Steve (the other guitar/bass guy) has a big Peavey 1x15 bass combo. Its OK, but some day I want to get a better bass amp if we keep going like this.

"we'll see"

What exactly does that mean?

Your not exactly instilling a lot of hope in me, Stephen ;)

Thats OK... The Peavey will do the trick for the time being. Guitar is my #1 instrument, and I have enough to work on for 2010 right now... :)

Played three times in December. New Year's was fun; in a big hall upstairs at an arena (Little Current)

Played through a couple of homemade pedals and a BOss aw-3 with my Gibson ES-135 with newly installed Dimarzio DLXs. I tricked it out with a series/parallel switch and am really digging those subtleties. Amp was a trusted Yamaha DG-80. My Trinity Deluxe is having heat issues and am really slow at figuring out what the problem is. Planning on doing some semi-serious mods.
