You could probably find an older copy (2003) for cheap. For amp layouts it would still have all the functionality you need.
That or download it from online somewhere.

Visio lets you connect lines (wires) to parts so when the parts move, the connections do do. Very valuable tool to have. I'm sure others have this feature.

Hey! I believe Microsoft Visio is the best option, anyway you chould remember to use older versions, they are absolutely free and they have all the necesary set of tools. That is suitable for amp layouts and that is great to test Flutter and React Native mobile apps.

Design can be rather tricky, there is a lot to take into account for such a task. Not to mention the constant warehouse design innovations and forklift capabilities.

SmartDraw and AutoCad tend to be great options.

By the way, I suggest that article will be interesting for you if you are interested in design.

I'm using Inkscape because I'm a cheapskate and it does the job, but I've got a colleague who's got the latest version of Visio, and it's really great.

Yes, I use most of these applications, too, but I have settled on Microsoft Visio. Much better than the others, in many ways. But there are other handy programs if, for some reason, this one doesn't suit you. There are also, for example, the same HiSlide.io templates for creating cool presentations, which are much better than the standard options. Even for Microsoft, but PowerPoint.

I use the most of these programs as well, but I've decided on Microsoft Vi sio. In many respects, much superior than the others.
