I received all my parts now and I am starting to wire the chassis.
Its going a little slow, but I want to be careful. I took some pics with the iron in, tubes etc....

Let me know if you see anything wrong before I get too far.

So far so good. Can see, but make sure the 115V Hot wire is the one you fuse and switch, not the Neutral.

Yup it is.

I don't like wiring heater wires on sockets very much with teflon wire. :-(

I find twisting the heater wires comforting, but soldering them is my least favorite part of the build!

Well I didn't want to work on the chassis with the transformers in it and have it rest on the transformers.

I was glad I built it, to get to those under the lip pots and tubes it was amazing. Tilt steering...:-)

Copy away man.....

aren't we all copying anyway? copying Marshall who copied fender who copied god knows who.

Yeah I copied DST engineering Cradle. Works like a charm. I need two of them! Would like to have variable tilt though!

hey wiggle,

Yes those are turrets and eyelets. I got the board from abbey road services.

Ken is a great guy. When I e-mailed him with what I wanted he sent it the next day.

board (to my specs), 50 turrets, and 50 eyelets was $20.00.

I thouhgt it was a good deal so I bought it.

He started turretboards.com in the past months.
