I'm new to ampbuilding, & new to this forum, so I thought I'd kick off my first post with this question:
How many of you use an amp cradle for your builds, or some other rig or platform? Are they worthwhile? If you use a different method or rig for holding your chassis, I'd be very interested in what's working out for you

It's worthwhile if you are building several amps, otherwise, a board with two vertical arms to support the chassis/tubes etc can be put together easily. Angle it if you can.

Thanks for the reply! I scoped out the website for that cradle, & it's too bad he's no longer making them. Here's a link to some some pix of a custom made metal cradle. This thing looks like lab or surgical equipment!

I was just fine without one.. however if i were building lots of amps i would definetly look into it.
