Yup, I will be taking on some bass playing duites in my band as well as rythm guitar and vocals.

We restructured as a three piece - basically eliminating the bass player as he was having some trouble keeping up with learning new stuff, etc.

So, the lead guitarist and I will be sharing guitar and bass playing.

Now I need a TRINITY bass amp, so come on dudes lets get it going! :)

This is a good place fo0r a first post

As a bass playing Triwatt builder, I have to agree, a bass amp.
The Triwatt is going to be busy on Guitar.
Beside if I am going to build a bass cab, I want a bass amp.
50 watts that I can put on a 15 or when more is needed use a 2x10 on top of the 1x15. I use 16ohm speakers to give max flexibility.(have to start hunting I still have those hiwatt 12's around somewhere. Fallen in love with Warehouse Guitar Speakers and at this time thats all I am using.
When young I owned and used SA-212 combo (around 1975) and the bass setup SA412, both based on the dr-504 (thought it sucked as a bass amp but great as a rythym amp) traded for an late 60's Ampeg SVT Blue line with a single 15" ext cab. I could almost afford to change the tubes on it now :)
Although a Garnet BTO downsized would be nice, love the tone hate the ear bleeding.
As for Bass I am hoping he went with a Jazz bass style (my second fav) or music man style (best sounding coils and can be tapped) both must have flat wound strings (my fingers are delicate :) ) actually I grew up in the 50,60 and 70's and thats the sound of a bass(jamerson) He, JBruce, RGlover and JPJones are the reason I love bass
Favorite bass that I am playing at this time Geddie Lee Japanese Jazz Bass in Black, Ibanez RD900 in Natural, copy of a Gibson Explorer, and my all time fave, My rick :D :D :D

So to wrap up a nice 50 watt or so bass amp would be great, maybe continue the tweed line and go with a bassman style.

A 2008 Fender American Jazz - mint shape in a flight case and with all the case candy. Local fellow... I was looking around at some others but never saw what turned me on so to speak and was planning to make a Precision copy. but I am tight on time and this was a good deal IMO.

I think it willbe fun!

I have plaued it through the Triwatt and it sounds GREAT... but thats the guitar amp I gig with now most of the time and I doint want to swap instruments and reset during the gig.

The lead guitarist has a decent PEavey for the time being... but if you made a bass amp ike taz suggested I would buy one fo' sho! :)

The second best part of a B-15 is the pre and post line out witrh level control. The best is it was Jamersons favorite weapon in studio or on the road.
It would be nice to have a KT88 option if this is going to use 6L6 as PTs.
Tweeters must have a switch to turn them off, sidecutters work well as a switch. On my Bassman 250R I removed it.
Basically I use my amp as a monitor and run the line out to the F.O.H system.
Although I haven't giged in years, I still jam, and once I retire from my day job, who knows maybe I will pull an Alex Harvey 8)
And now I am building a Triwatt and planning to build every other amp that is being sold by Trinity.

I have Trinity Kit #1 with KT66's in my house man - and its my #1 gigging amp (dethroning the TC15) since I built it in the spring.

Its what I have been playing the bass through since I got it :)

I haven't tried it with bass yet - primarily because I don't have one...yet...
