Its time for a new (to me) multi meter. I'm getting ready to embark on the journey of my first amp build. I'm going to scour the pawn shops and just wondering which model will be best for all around use and bench work? I assume that I want a unit that will test capacitance, as well as all the other normal functions. I've had an old Radio Shack unit and several others that have served me well for many years, but its time for an upgrade to a Fluke.
TIA,
Gene

Even a low-end fluke is better than most! Mike this is true RMS meter and measures capacitance temperature frequency etc. Auto ranging is the best,
