 Post subject: Okay, so I'm a NOOB

On Coco's Cliff jack wiring diagram in Resources...
I assume the green wire from each co-ax cable is the braided sheath
separated from the inner copper wire. These braids connect to a Cliff lug and
there are other wires going back and forth with the 1M resistor connected also.
There is also the green ground wire going to ground.

What I don't see is the other end of the co-ax cable...is it connected to wherever
( V1 tube ??) with only the inner copper wire stripped? I remember reading of this
on the Brown Note forum, I think.

Yes the green is the shield and is also a wire that connects all the cliff jacks together and then to a ground lug nearby.
Only the center conductor is connected on the other end. The ground/shield is clipped off and a small piece of heatshrink keeps any little hairs from touching anything.
