After hearing Ibet's clips (the reason I built my 15!) and reading that the backup is something found on the internet, I've searched around a bit unsuccesfully. Would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction? Thanks, Jeff.

One of the backing track products I have used in the past are the Stand Alone Compact Discs by Robert Brown and others:

They are published by Alfred Publishing and are backing tracks for practicing in different Genres. Go to Alfred Publishing's website and in the guitar and bass section search Stand Alone.

If you're into jazz the old school way is to find instructional cd's by Jamie Abersold. I suspect they are similar to what billabong posted.

I believe Lawrence once posted this link to the "Clips" forum

http://online-discussion.dhenderson.com ... c8d462e42f

The other thing to do is to go to The Gear Page and /or The Les Paul forum. They both have boards dedicated to members clips. One member will post a backing track and all the members will download it and play their guitar part on it and post it for everyone to listen to. It's very cool and you get some interesting stuff from it too. Some really great players on both forums!
