I've already looked at that.
I'll move everything except the main filter
caps in about 1/4 inch top and bottom if I need to.
I have a bunch of carbon film resistors that measure
2-3/16" end to end. Most other resistors I have are around
3" end to end.
Friend has original champ board and he measured 2"center-to-center
hole spread.
My modern era was
seeing 1212 when thinking of someone and 5f2a (BBQ) measures 2-1/2" spread.
I looked at an original 5e3 some years ago and I'm pretty sure,
if memory serves, that's how it's board
positive words was set up.
Wider spread for the main caps, and a little narrower spread
for the rest of the board.
That is why I'm looking for vintage board drill guides, but
can move everything in closer to original if need be.
Would just like to be "Period-Correct"
Thanks for sharing your views on this! I am currently looking for vintage board drill guides as well.
