The Board for the TriFly is a new approach.
Wanting to keep this design compact, we went for a layout that put the tubes in the middle of the chassis with holes through to feed the component leads directly to the tube pins and we used regular sockets.
The heater wires are the red twisted wires on the back side of the board and go through the centre line of the sockets, not around them. Since there are only 2 tubes, the are aligned so the heater connections are closest to each other.
The first board was a learning experience, the next one will have some aesthetic improvements and will go into a new chassis. The filter caps are 100V over spec'd so will be smaller too.
Turns out to be very compact and very quiet!
