..... into a 23" wide head cab. I have a Reinhardt 2x12 and I'd like to build my own head kit to save a good chunk o' change but it'd have to fit on the cab. How much extra $ does a custom sized head cab cost over what Stephen has listed?

The chassis itself is 20" wide, and you would ideally need some space to "overlap" the front panel for cosmetic purposes. Technically it would fit with some creativity. For a custom cab you'll need to talk to the big guy or roll your own :D

The answer is Yes. Curent head cab is 22" wide! Sounds like a perfect fit to me!

:shock: Cool!!! I don't know why.. but I always thought the head cabs were a lot wider than that.

JCM 800s are 30"; Most original 18 heads were 24" but we shortened it up to 22" to make it look better. Some plexis are 26"
