Well, I just finished wiring the input jacks in my Plexi kit and came to the part in the manual that talks about wiring V1. Trouble is, I had already wired V1 and hadn't seen the instruction regarding the 68K resistors that go from the terminal strips to V1. Specifically, the part which recommends keeping the resistor leads as short as possible on the V1 side. I had already wired in the resistors with the leads about equal on both sides.

Here's my question: before I finish this up and go through the final check, is worth my time, trouble and expense to get replacement resistors, and if so, can I get adequate replacements at my local Radio Shack?

My advice is to try it first. the reason for keeping them close to the grids is to keep noise down. Early Tweeds , original 18 watt & even JTM45 mount them on the board. I recommend it and provide the terminal strips to do it as a precaution. You will probably be just fine.
