My 1st(of probably many)questions.Stephen has just shipped my 18watt kit, getting materials together, have question,Any problems using old school cloth covered wire instead of supplied pvc insulated wire, any noise considerations.I have a thing for using vintage spec materials,I have an ample supply of copper 22g and 18g wire in multiple colors, would like to use on my 18watt build

Provided the cloth-covered wire has sufficient voltage rating, you can use it. Ideally you need at least 300V rated insulation for the PI and preamp section, and at least 400V for the power stage and power supply. However, if you like to do things original vintage style, that type of wire isn't authentic to vintage Marshall amps. They all used pvc-insulated wire.
