Hi i'm thinking of doing a super lead type amp with el34's.
I'm not bothered about cascading yet and i don't use the normal channel it's no good in my
1x12 combo at band level, nice when i'm at home.
Something along the plexi lead connections with a gain pot.
Can i connect the normal volume pot up so i can use the tmb side, connect to pin2 v2.
Remove the 470k on the board and put on v2.
Thanks.

Here is how I did mine. http://www.unimind.us/images/Trinity18_ ... ematic.jpg Just ignore the cascade switch and the presence control. Make sure and ground the unused side of the PI (C7). See picture below:

It was your layout that got me thinking if i mount the 470k's with a 500pf on one of them
at pin2 v2,then get rid of the tone control.
I'm going to use the presence pot.
I'm going to try and do a plexi 36watt cathode biased with el34's,i'm waiting for a faceplate and
use a standard jtm45 chassis and rear plate.
I'm putting the vvr pot on the front then use a progressive power switch.
I will probably end up with a push pull pot for vol and gain in one hole and normal vol in the other.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers.
