I have all tubes in, plus speaker, powered up, off of standby, no hums or noise of any sort. The tubes are all hot but normal orange glow on V4,V5,V6. The 12AX7's are hot but not glowing. Here are my voltages
222 main
B+ all tubes installed 375
V1 pin 1=140
3=1.0
6=147
8=1.1
V2 pin 1=157
3=1.3
6=276
8=165
V3 pin 1=0.4
2=.5
3=0
6=0
7=.6
8=0
V4 pin. 3=12.8
7=361
9=353
V5 pin. 3=12.7
7=358
9=352
V5 pin. 1=322
3=378
7=322
The amp has been on for almost an hour and everything still seems normal. It's hot but not to hot.

All wires on V3 are accounted for. When I touch V3 pin1 with the test lead I get a scratchy sound from the speaker. That is the only time I get any sound from the speaker or amp.
Here are some pictures that might help.

In the pic of the back of the board (at the bottom), the dark wire running diagonally needs to also connect to the turret it passes in the middle of the board.

Oh man!!! Thanks for catching that. Can I fix it by running a wire across the top? Or do I have to connect it from the bottom?

I think I may have fried something. Here are my new voltages
V1 pin 1 = 136
3. 1.0
6. 140
8. 1.0

V2. Pin 1 = 155
3. 1.3
6. 278
8. 163

V3 pin. 1 =. 192
2. 42.6
3. 93
6. 190
7. 42.4
8. 93.4

V4. Pin 3 = 12.8
7. 361
9. 353

V5 pin. 3 =. 12.7
7. 358
9. 352

V6 pin 1 = 0
3. 370
7. 0

When I fixed the wire under the turret board I accede toy soldered one end to the +16uf 450v and the other end to the + 16 uf 450v instead of the 2.2k 2w resister. I fired up the amp and saw smoke. I shut it down right away found the problem and corrected it.
But now I have 0 volts on v6 pins 1 and 7. I don,t think that is a good thing.
What do you think.

I don't see how you can have 370 on pin 3 if you have 0 on pins 1 and 7. Remember pins 1 and 7 are AC not DC. The rest of the voltages look OK. A little low here or a little high there but pretty close to spec.

Pins 1 and 7 are DC.

Hi Les. Thanks for straitening me out on the AC DC the voltages are fine. This is my first time using a meter.All of this stuff is Greek to me. But the good news is that the amp is working. There is just one problem, one of the inputs isn't working but I will sort that out tomorrow. I think it is because of the way I oriented the input before I wired it. Now I will build the cabinet.
Thanks again I will post pics of the finished product soon.

Good job. Those jumpers are sometimes forgotten, so dont fret too much about that.
