I finally got around to making a cabinet for my amp. Not done yet but here is the first time the amp and cab have come together. Please disregard my attempt at making a faceplate. I will be ordering a real one someday.

Looks pretty good from here. Plates cost about $60 unless a local engraver can do it for less.

I dont think that panel matches the schematic labels, does it? Maybe we should synch them, or have you just moved on and done more? I see presence which we didnt do and I'm guessing feedback & cascade switches, but I cant read the labels on the pic.

I have done more. Here is the faceplate template:

The Vintage/Modern switch switches between the Plexi(1959) and JCM800(2203) modes. Basically just a cascade switch. Gain 2 is only available in Modern mode. Here is my latest schematic: http://www.unimind.us/images/18_PLEXI_800_Schematic.jpg .

There are still a few more changes I want to do to bring it closer to the 2203 spec when cascaded but it sounds great as it is now. I plan on making some new decent sound clips showing each of the modes both clean and dirty but for now here are a few clips of the JCM800 mode.

How did you wire up the cascade switch to keep the noise down. Shielded wire or not?

I have shielded wire from the switch to the tubes but otherwise normal wire. It's a mess really and I need to clean it up but there is surprisingly no noise.
