Curious if anyone has used an ABY box to play either or both channels. I've jumpered Marshall style amps using both inputs and have also jumpered them with Fender style amps. It sure seems like both amps are getting the "padded" input treatment due to jumpering. (i.e. the second channel on my sIII v6 seems quieter when it's being fed by the lo input from the first channel than it would otherwise be if I simply plugged in directly).

That got me thinking that maybe an ABY box would be a good idea. Not only do you get channel switching, but you potentially get the high input for both channels. Would that be the case with an ABY box plugged into both high inputs?
