i don't think this is an issue, but my electronic understanding is still a little rusty, so its easier to ask one than rebuild...

now that i'm wiring controls, i see that a couple solders onto the ground bus are loose...i've re-attached them, but now am leary...can i just gang them all together with wire on top, and then connect to ground via the chassis lug...

as i recall...ground is ground...so it should be ok...but i want to make sure...this is a secondary measure...

In a tube amp, ground is not always ground. LOL

We really suggest you follow the layout exactly as this keeps hum to a minimum. And do your best soldering! On the buss, lot's of heat!

ok...well...i will put trust into the bus...and hope that i don't need to take it back out...

i had seen a build picture showing the ground going to the control pots of the TMB channel coming off the end of the bus by 16uF cap and going to the Mid pot first, whereas the 'layout' shows it back near the middle and going to the Volume pot first...so rather than try to connect to the bus, i went off the end lug at the capacitor and connected to the Mid pot...

i shall re-wire...

thanks!

Exact placement of ground connects is real critical if you don't want hum.
