is the Bias switch to run the 6v6's?

what is the purpose between the two 1R resistors going to V4 and V5?

The bias switch is for selecting cathode or fixed bias. (fixed bias has more components than the original cathode bias thats in a stock 18 watt and trinity build)

The two 1R resistors are for taking voltage measurements when setting up fixed bias

What type of cab/speakers are you using in that clip??

It's an old Peavey cab with 200 watt Scorpions at 4 ohms.

I have always loved this cab and speakers. I have had many cabs over the years but this one always sounded the best to me.

Would those be Peavey Scorpion S-12825 12" Speaker Drivers ?

Thinking of making a 212 for a Customer who wants to emulate that tone!

I wonder if your PV speakers are anything like the Celestion Lead 80 - http://professional.celestion.com/guita ... l.asp?ID=8 Do you have any PV specs to compare against?

I found this: http://www.loudspeakersplus.com/product ... N-SP-1225/ I have the 4 ohm version from 1978 but that is the speaker I have.
Edit: I notice that this speaker has a lower freq response than any Celestion. Usable freq. range: 60 Hz ~ 4 kHz
Here is some more info http://www.peavey.com/media/pdf/manuals ... series.pdf
