No doubt Jimmy Marshall changed rock history with the 18 watt circuit, but as we know, the " This one goes to 11" theory is mandatory to pull that heavenly tone from the beast. No other tone like it, but everyone in the surrounding community might not find a jam session as relaxing as us. I see there is an attenuator On one of the amps, does this comeas a kit for the 18, are there schematics for this mod and, can it be built in as opposed to the minimass or air brake or unleashed etc etc? My version is in a head cab with a Marshall solid state 2x12 combo emptied of elect and filled with a Bad cat and a Skumback....please type loudly as I am deafened by my amp.... :chatter:

VRM is the way to go. Doesn't take too much away from tone and makes the little beast much more usable, especially in a residential setting....

Add another vote for the VRM. I built my sIII v6 about a year or so before finally putting in the VRM. It's so much more versatile now - on both channels. Works exactly as advertised.
