Update:
I didn't care for the VRM combination On-Off switch/control pot. It was a pain in butt having to find the sweet spot on the pot every time I powered up the amp.
So I re-installed the On/Off toggle switch and put the VRM control pot on the back. This way it's more of a set it and forget it arrangement. I used a new 1M Audio pot from my parts drawer and enlarged the small hole between the impedance switch and the mains outlet. I really like this arrangement!

By the way, it's way past the honeymoon stage and I'm still blown away by just how great this amp sounds! I totally love it!
