Whats the pros and cons for using twisted pair shielded wire for main and heater power?

Shileded will be very difficult to pull the coax out and it is not stiff so you will have trouble keeping it in place.

Use twisted 22 or 20 guage solid. Pre-twist with a drill on one end, fasten the far end 6 feet away and pull the trigger until it's tightly twisted. Works like a charm.
