Did you ever try this? Maybe a switch scheme could be made so that el84, 6v6 or both could be selected? Would be cool...For now I'm settled with 18 watt but I have the vvr/vrm and the existing trannys could be used for a tc-15... :hmmm: :bugeye:

Edit: Now realise this might need a different rectifier aswell. The purpose would be a bit more clean headroom, but I can use my other amp for loud clean tones. More rocking less thinking 8)

It would be hard to run and EL84 & 6V6 together. you cant run all at thesame time because of the OT impedance. you might be able to mix a 6V6 & EL84 but I'm unsure if you could hear the difference.

Easier to switch one set in & one set out.
