Has anyone ever tried a Crunch/Munch switch on a V6??

I tried it. I can't say that I use it that often, tho. The sound gets pretty sterile. I find that to me it sounds best with the 6v6's, but then , I'm an old school rocker. I just like the grit of the Blue/Brown primaries. I haven't tried the Bluewhite/brownwhite with using the "wrong" secondaries yet. In effect, you should be able to get 10k on the primary.
I'd say go for it. You can never have too many tone options. All that it costs is a DPDT switch.

Hi Stew...
This allows you to switch between the 5k and 8k primaries on the output transformer. I've seen it used on the TC15 but not the 18's or V6.

I have played it on the sIII V6 and liked the options, but I agree with LeeMo. Never too many options!

I also have it on my TC-15.
