I'm wondering if there a preferred way to run the heater wires in a combo chassis?
Looking down at the chassis I could run the wires below the tube sockets on the corner of the chassis bottom, above the sockets or over top of the sockets?

Is one way typically quieter than another?

Thanks,
Rob

From what I've read in my vacuum tube design books, the heater wiring should be against the chassis (along that corner of the chassis if possible) as far away from the other wiring a possible. That said, the heaters in my Victoria are wired hovering above the tube sockets but still away from other wiring, which is how I ran mine seen here...

Mine will be against the chassis once the top cover goes on :D I may shield them as well, but that's TBD...

Done it both ways. Along the top in the corner is probably better.
